About

Hi, I’m Lauryn!

I grew up in Cincinnati in a home filled with art and creativity, where my parents gave me the gifts of tenacity, strong work ethic, and the importance of following your passions.

I began making jewelry at age 12, inspired by my talented artist mother and my bodacious Aunt Becky, who owned a bead and fabric store together. My love of creating continued to grow—I worked in a bead shop while studying Fine Arts at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and after graduating in 2002, I moved to Denver and launched Lauryn Esther Studio.

Today, I live in Taos, New Mexico with my partner and our two dogs, creating from my dream studio nestled in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. My jewelry is inspired by nature, travels, and adventures, incorporating semi-precious stones, natural materials, and interesting artifacts I discover along the way. I love making pieces that are playful, bold, and full of character—jewelry that often seems to find the person it was meant for.

I’m so glad you’re here. Take a look around, and perhaps you’ll find the piece that feels like it was made just for you.
